Gifts Supreme started out as a small gift shop on Bridge St, Castlebar. It was opened in 1986 by Mary Kelleher and her husband Oliver. It moved 2 years later to its current location on the corner of Linenhall St and Rush St in the county town, The premises was formerly occupied by O' Connors grocery store. The building has a long history in Castlebar and can be found on the Humbert trail.

Over the years there have been a number of extensions and refurbishments and today Gifts Supreme stocks the largest selection on Giftware, Cookware, Homeware, Lighting and Mirrors in the West of Ireland.

Today, the shop is still run by the Kelleher family and has diversified its product widely. In recent years  the main cookware and baking side has increased and today Gifts Supreme stocks much more than just the regular gift item and cater for the professional and semipro baker or chef.

The Lighting section is also renowned for stocking the most contemporary selection available.

The store is know for the variety and quality of the product stocked, and for the good value offered.
